What a wonderful day!

Our friends draw pictures for Chayala's birthday book....Shhh!
Tzemach sorts pom poms by size.

Look how our friends wait so patiently on line for a turn! When Morah Mushka complimented the friends on this, Peretz noted that we were waiting on line similar to the way they do at the post office waiting to send a "box".
 Sprinkler fun!
We glue feathers onto our "world" to represent birds that were created on day 5.
Jacob goes fishing for "fish". Each fish has a letter of the alphabet. When he catches a fish, he matches it to the same letter found in one of our unit words: Birds, Fish, and Bug.
Peretz and Tzemach enjoy one of the NEW books in our classroom library!
At circle time, we made a chart with the information our friends already knew about fish, birds, and insects. We also added some things that were new to us. We discussed each one's place of habitat, what they eat, and how they move around. With everyone's help, our chart was completed and we learned a lot of interesting things about these creatures!

Here Chayala points to the fish as she talks about some of the things she knows.
Morah Mushka reads the Mitzvah notes that were brought into school. The children glow with pride as we read thier note. Feel free to send Mitzvah notes with good deeds your child has done!
