Gragger Making

Today the children were so excited to finish their graggers...

First we counted 6 buttons

Then we carefully beaded them on.

After we tied the string, we shook them...and yes!  They work!

Amazing :)

And beautiful!

Hamantash baking

Ella made this one herself!

King and Queens...

Mazal tov on their new princess :)

Sender read the story.

Ella and Marnie danced to Purim Music.

Kayle wrote the word, 'QUEEN ESTHER'

We noticed the tree budding today!

Mendel found these...

Today we played a Purim game:
Throw the bean bag on a character and tell us about him/her.
"Queen Esther.  She is kind," said Ella
"King. Bad.  He lives in a palace," said Mendel
"(Mordechai) He is a good guy.  He said the princess need to help," said Kayle
"Vashti.  She said, 'No i can't come'," said Marnie
"Esther.  She is nice.  She helps the people.  She keeps them safe," says Sender

We made a big hamantash!

Hamantash Factory

Today we learnt how to make a Hamantash!
First we role the dough.

Then we cut out a circle.

Then we place the jelly inside and pinch the corners.  (Last step needed some assistance)

Our sensory tub has turned into a village...
We have houses, streets, cars, people and of course baskets with food.

Ella gives her Misholach Manot (food basket we give on Purim) to Kayle.

Marnie drives her motor bike down the street.

Royal feast in the palace.
"Haman can come because he's going to be a nice Haman", said Henny.

We heard our Purim story today and shook Graggers when we heard Haman's name.
