Today we learnt a new skill...
Weaving!
The children learnt how to weave a piece of paper through metal rods.
We discussed a new artist today, Randy Walker who doesn't paint, or draw or glue...
...he weaves big sculptures that look beautiful.
The children were excited to do something like that too.
We had a feel of the chicken wire, and felt how strong and hard it was.
We decided to make a bear cave...
How big should it be?
"Really big" says Sender.
The children crawl through to see if they can fit.
And we use our new weaving skills to make it cozy for bear.
Come to our art gallery to see the finished product!
More fun from today:
We looked at our thermometer and saw the red line was up at 60 degrees!
We were wondering if we even needed coats today...
At circle time we acted out the Purim story...
Achashverosh chooses a new queen.
Today it is Henny!
Achashverosh is happy with his new queen :)
