Friendship Tree

As the end of the year approaches, we are talking about how much we will miss our friends.

We created a friendship tree, to express our connection as a class.

We painted our hands with water color paint.

And then stamped it onto a large tree.

The paint felt nice on our hands.

And the tree now has our handprints on it.

More fun from today: 

The children enjoyed Shabbat Live.

Devorah copied some hebrew letters onto her Torah.

Levi shaped his hebrew name with playdough.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch outside!

A special Gift

Today we learned about an upcoming Chag...Shavuot or Shvuos. 

Both are correct :)

 Hashem had a present that He wanted to gift us with. 

It is precious and we treat it carefully, like a newborn baby.

The children were careful as they passed the Torah  around the circle.

Nevin gave it a kiss.

Hashem was looking for a mountain upon which to give the Torah.

We heard the big mountains arguing, and noticed that Hashem chose Har Sinai who was feeling happy with himself.

More fun from today:

We had a fun picnic for snack today :)

We looked at the calendar and saw that soon it is going to be our graduation. 

Peek into our Day

Today we made slime.

The children loved helping and watch the glue turn from a liquid to one piece of slime.

Hannah spread her slime out, and noticed how big it looked.

Nevin built his nest today.

We placed our nests in a 'bird sanctuary'

Levi practiced his letters.

The children enjoyed creating self-portraits.

Building our own nests!

Today the children built their own nests! 

Using play dough, plates, branches, feathers, glue and a variety of other materials.

Sender added eggs inside his nest.

They look super cosy and well built :)

More fun from today:

The children played a fun math game.

They rolled the dice.

Placed the correct number of stickers.

Some children attempted to write the number too.

Thank you to Devorah & Henny for being fruit family this week.

Devorah chose which fruit we would have for snack today.

We learned all about different types of birds.

And went on a fun bird watch.
