Happy Birthday Ido!

Who was the birthday boy?
Ido was!

We saw baby Ido.  Ima showed us how small he was when he was born.

And now that he is 3, he has grown so big.

We sang and danced happy birthday.

We gave Ido a chair lift.

We played hot and cold to find Ido's birthday book.

We read all the children's birthday wishes.

Ido collected Tzedakah.

And we enjoyed delicious birthday treats.

We Love Going for a Walk

The children love going for a walk, no matter the weather.
When we walk out the door, we are greeted by fresh air.
The children know that we hold hands to keep safe.

We get a chance to roll down the hill too!

More fun from today:

Nevin made a snowman with buttons.

Chana found a 'Ches' for her name, we then made a nun and and a hey with scrap paper.

Levi made a beautiful piece of art.

Chana built a house for her feather person.

She added many people and amenities.

The children looked at the display of hibernating animals, asking the names of each.

Nevin created a potato head out of banana peels.

The 4's invited us to bear's birthday party.

We sang happy birthday.

And had some cake.

Ido showed us his fork is spiky like the hedgehog.

Child Led Art

Today Chana brought some artwork from home.
She asked to use the scissors to cut it.
After cutting most of it and storing it in a bag, Devorah said she wanted to cut too.

Chana cut her last paper in half and gave one half to her friend.

They both got down to cutting small squares and strips.

Next, they asked to glue it down.

After working for some time...Ido and Levi asked to cut as well.

More fun from today:
Nevin traced the wavy line, starting with one patter and then changing to another.

Nevin used the large blocks to create a super tall tower.

Levi scooped a tablespoon of cream of tarter for our new play-dough.

Mayer helped squeeze in the blue  paint,

The playdough was warm and soft.

3 Year Old Handwriting

Today the children created interesting shapes with their Challah.

Chana made a square.

Levi lined up many balls...

...and then made a hand.

We decorated our Challah bag with stamps.

The children wrote their letters!
C for Chana.

NE for Nevin.

LE for Levi.

Devorah wrote a D and many H's

I am so proud of their progress!

Devorah helped match up the lids.

Nevin built a parking lot with compartments.

Chana blessed the Challah

Shabbat Shalom!
