Shabbat Shalom!

Today we practiced patterning.

Ido threaded pasta on his 'Menorah'.

We made Challah.

Devorah made a braided Challah.

Nevin and Mayer built train tracks on stilts.

We practiced our numbers and stair climbing with a fun game.

At our Shabbat party, Mayer drove the police car (with sound effects) to the store.

The children helped set the table.

We gave Tzedakah.

Yummy grape juice!

Ido blesses the Challah.
Shabbat Shalom!

Playdough Menorahs

Today we had match sticks at our playdough table.
Ido counted as he placed them in.

Levi added 'so many'.

Nevin brought the silver Menorah and added play dough to hold up the matchsticks.

Ido brought the tile Menorah and did the same.

Nevin made this playdough Menorah all by himself!

More fun from today:
The children remembered so many details of the Chanukah story we spoke about yesterday!
See it on Amazon here!  (Made by Morah Sarah)

Mayer is the acting as the Greek soldier, checking the caves to see who's learning Torah.
"Are you learning Torah?" he asks.
"No we're playing dreidel", says Nevin acting as the children.

We talked about Yehudah Hamaccabbee today.
We showed how strong he is, and also how brave.

Nevin signs the invitation to his Daddy for 'Building and Bonding'.

Our invitations are all ready to be sent home!

Peek into Monday

Dr. Ido and Dr. Mayer checked the baby.

We did cutting practice today.

Mayer made a Daddy triangle.

Chana cut a lot of strips.

Thank you Nevin for being the fruit family this week!

Nevin built an elaborate track.

We used wax crayons and water colors to create art.

The children were very focused and intentional with their work.

Levi sorted the driedels using our new rainbow counting mats!

The children heard the beginning of the Chanukah story.
