Today at circle time, we talked and acted our the roles of our family members:
What does Mommy do?
"She puts the baby to sleep" said Chana
"She makes food in the kitchen" said Levi
"She plays tracks and gives us candy" said Nevin
What does Daddy do?
"He lights candles" said Mayer
"Mommy lights candles. Only the girls light candles, not the boys" said Devorah.
Daddy went to work.
Sister went to school.
Mayer took brother to school.
Baby went to sleep.
Chana picked sister up from school.
When everyone came home Mommy (with Levi's help) gave everyone supper.
After supper, the children helped everyone go to sleep.
Baby and sister share a bed.
More fun from today:
We made new playdough.
It was pink!
Mayer and Chana enjoying some new library books.
"I'm making a baby" said Mayer
The children named the feelings on our feeling chart and pinpointed which ones they were feeling.
We are getting good at counting and recognizing numbers!
We went for a walk in the rain!
We caught some raindrops.
And saw a rainbow tree!
Nevin and Mayer went through a huge puddle!
"It was big like an ocean" said Nevin.
We also noticed the tree next to our playground.
"So many leaves fell down" said Levi, pointing to the ground where there were many piled up.
The children enjoyed playing with cars today!
Nevin gave Ido a ride!
