Honing our Writing Skills

We practiced our writing skills today.

Levi drew concentric circles.

Nevin built a track.

And together with Mayer added cars.
"There's traffic", said Mayer.

You may see this at the door of preschool.  Know that it is an experiment we are doing with a wet paper.
The children wonder if it will turn to ice or a snowman.
We can't wait to see tomorrow :)

Ido and Devorah held the scissors correctly and cut the paper in half.

Levi made blueberries in the writing tray.

The children sat a doll in the high chair and served each other food.

Chana and Devorah read books in the library.

We went outside and found lots of ice!

And had fun on the swings!

We Found Ice!

Today we went for a walk with the intention of looking for ice.
We found some!
We touched it.
We stepped on it!
We crunched it!
We also saw some of the ice had melted into water.
It's amazing to see how the freezing weather effects the water on the ground.

More fun from today:

Ido made a colorful design with the blocks.

We decorated our Challah bags with dots.

Nevin and Mayer built together.

At snack time, the children made faces with the fruit.

Drinking our Kiddush.

Blessing the Challah!

Shabbat Shalom!

Little Artists

Today we read the book, "The Dot", by Peter H. Reynolds.

We read about a little girl who became an artist by painting dots.

The children were very excited to try their own dots.

We definitely have little artists in our class!

More fun from today:
Ido gave the dress up doll an umbrella because it was raining.

We practiced our writing skills.

Ido built a very tall tower.

Levi enjoyed a new library book.

Boys made a bracha on Tzitzit.

Girls wearing the same dress!

We went into the rain with Ido's umbrella!
