Welcome back to school!
The children were happy to be back and see their friends and Morah's.
Thank you for sending in photos of activities the children did over the break.
They were printed and laid out on a table for the children to look at when they arrived at school.
Levi looked through the pictures until he found one which he recognized the people in it.
"I was hiding behind my Mommy", he recalls. "There were 3 families, and Mushka wore a pom pom hat."
When Chana comes, Levi finds her pictures and hands them to her.
Mayer glues his photos to the board, remembering that Daddy took him on the yellow car and he went to visit Mommy's office and then went to the park.
Ido talked about the 'baby giraffe' and that it wanted it's Mommy and Daddy.
Devorah was very proud of the photo with her sisters and that she went to a L'chaim.
It was lovely to talk with the children about the things they did.
More fun from today:
Levi collected all the new library books that were on display, brought them to the library, placed them next to him in a pile and looked through them, one by one.
Mayer rolled out his play dough and used all the cutters to make shapes.
Today we used our new dress up felt set (available on Amazon soon). Each child pulled out one item of clothing. We talked about if it is for winter or summer.
Chana pulled out tights just like she is wearing. She said we wear it when it is cold in the winter.
Devorah put her Mitzvah note next to squirrel, who is hibernating.
We think squirrell may like to read it when she wakes up.
