Day 4- Sun, Moon, and Stars!

Strengthening fine motor skills while stretching the rubberbands around the corners of the star.

While Chayala paints with glittery silver paint at the easle, Peretz and Sara watch and ask guess what she is painting.
Peretz decided to paint around a paper star, making a star shape in the middle of his painting.
Dalya writes with chalk on a mini chalk board. She is tracing the letter "U" for her last name!
Thanks you Dalya and the Uhr family for the delicious, sweet fruit this week!
 Sara and Chayala play catch.

Someone had colored with chalk on the shed. Our friends decided they would help wash it off. Some used sponges while others used their squirters.
Singing our song for the days of creation. Here our friends are showing the number four with their fingers.
We look at a diagram of the phases of the moon. Our friends are curious as to why the moon is sometimes big and sometimes a crescent (a new word we learnt), or a "half circle" as Peretz put it. We talk about how the moon orbits the earth. Sometimes, we can just see a part of it because not all of it is illuminated. We all have something to share about the moon or stars we've seen at night.
Sara observes the diagram of the moon phases.
We make a special grey sparkly playdough today to represent the galaxy!
