Reflections on Shavuot

Today we reflected about what we did over the weekend.
The children were so excited to share what they did.
-went to shul
-had a party
-went to a hotel
-had ice cream

We then asked each child to choose a piece of our SINAI felt set to share with the class.
Marnie chose lightning.  'It was lightning yesterday.'

Henny - Hashem gave the Torah on Har Sinai.

Mendel - the Jewish people didn't refuse the Torah (i think that's the word he used).

Hannah - the Jewish people wanted the Torah.

Sender - flowers were on Har Sinai.

Kayle - The Torah was on Har Sinai.

Ella - the big mountain wanted the Torah to be given on him.

The children remember so many details of the story!

More fun from today:
Cutting practice.  The children are showing developed skills in accuracy and technique.

Henny and Marnie working together on a construction project.

Kayle experimenting with a ramp and cars.

Our plants have grown over the weekend!

The children were discussing who's was the tallest, and guessing what would grow next.
Although our first planting efforts weren't all that fruitful, we are glad that we kept on trying!
