Today we painted together on the floor.
The children worked cooperatively, passing each other the paints and enjoying the combined effort.
We can't wait to turn them into special mothers day cards tomorrow :)
Clean up was super fun too!
Matchstick art:
Tracing the picture with matchsticks.
Ella wanted to make her own pattern.
Mendel traced the entire picture.
Hashem chose Har Sinai to give the Torah on.
We made this story relevant by talking about something that happens in our class.
Sometimes when we go to play on the bicycles, we want to be first.
Har Sinai shows us that it's ok to be second and not the first.
We can let someone else be first and take turns.
"I'm gonna do that next time," says Kayle.
Marnie wore her builder hat and brought her tools to help put up the fence around Har Sinai.
Building a road and bridge.
Kayle fed her baby.
Henny made a bouquet of flowers.
Painting!
Mendel enjoying our new books on bees and insects.
