Today we did easel painting!
The children were very intentional while painting. I captured some of the things they said while they painted.
Kayle: It's green. Blue and yellow make green.
Sender: I'm making the sky blue. It's blue today. I'm painting it blue. Dark blue.
Ella: I want to paint Repunzel's tower.
Mendel: I made lines.
Mendel helped to clean the easel. He sprayed it and then wiped all the paint off.
Snack helpers. Peeling and sectioning tangerines.
Thank you Minkowitz family for the delicious fruit this week.
Ella and Kayle play as a team; Ella holds the hoop and Kayle throws a ball through.
At circle time we are talking about Yom Kippur.
We told the story of Yona and the whale and saw Yona find courage to listen to what Hashem told Him to do. We also saw the people of Ninveh change their ways and say 'I'm sorry'.
Today we had a surprise birthday for Morah Chagit. Happy Birthday! :)
