Full of Seeds

At circle time today we reviewed our Rosh Hashanah table.

Morah brought in a new fruit.
"What is that?"
"It's an apple"
The children were curious about what was inside.

We cut it open to reveal many seeds.

Mendel starts counting the seeds.  We discover there are too many to count.

We offer everyone a taste.
Some children don't like the seeds of the pomegranate.

Ella says she does.

We talk about how many good deeds we are doing, just like a pomegranate is full of seeds.
Today, Sender asked Hannah to trade markers.
Hannah gave it to Sender when she was done.

Kayle and Hannah share the eraser.

At the writing table, Mendel and Marnie took turns with the eraser.

We are finding so many!

More fun from today:
Cork stamping!

We tried sucking nectar like honey bees today.  But only air came up.

We took our straws to the snack table and sipped up our water!

Mendel takes 3 bananas and 3 plums!
