How are you feeling?

Today's sign in was to place your name on a feeling.
Marnie felt happy.

Sender looked at all the feelings to see which one resonated with his current state.

Playdough faces:
Marnie started with ears.

Mendel made two eyes.

Henny checked in the mirror to see what more features she could add.

Kayle and Mendel help fill up the sensory table with water.  We can't wait to see what they will look like tomorrow.

Thank you to the Weinberger's for delicious snack this week!
Mendel noticed the super large grapes and said they are still growing :)

We played with the cars today because it was raining outside.
Giving rides was so much fun!

At circle time we played out some social stories.
Here Dena and Dovid are playing.  Rivkah asks to join in, and Dena says, "No".
To develop empathy, i ask the children how they think Rivkah is feeling.
"Sad".
What can we tell Dena?
"Dena, i know you are a kind girl.  It is kind to include others in your games".
This time when Rivkah asks, Dena says ok.
The children feel happy and Rivkah does too!

This story is about sharing, where we explain to Dovid it is kind to share.

The children loved the stories, and we will continue to use this process for social learning.
