Today we made faces out of rocks.
Kayle looked in the mirror and copied what she saw.
Two eyes, a nose and a mouth.
Letter writing practice with stickers:
Outside the children walked in the blanket of leaves.
Kayle and Henny threw leaves in the air like confetti.
We noticed leaves were falling off the tree and their are less leaves on the tree.
We are starting our 'All About Me' unit, focusing on feelings.
At circle time we looked at different feeling cards.
The children were able to label the feelings and wondered why the children in the pictures were feeling that way. They came up with different reasons why the girl was 'mad':
She wanted leaves, she's mad at our friends.
Some ways to cheer her up: a hug, a sticker.
We will be using these cards during our Friendship Time!
