Dancing with the Torah

Today we did a lot of dancing.
First, because it is Sukkot and we are so happy.
Second, because we are practicing for Simchat Torah, when we dance with the Torah.

We wrap our Torah's at the Bima.

And then dance with our Torahs.

We take off the Torah's coat and belt...

...and see what's inside.
"Letters!"
"ABC letters?"
"No, Alef Bet letters!

We look inside the Torah to find our Hebrew letter.

Other happenings:
Sender's big brother, Binyomin helps the children make a Bracha on the Lulav and Etrog.

We do alef bet stamping.

Morah brought a present for the class.
Kayle thinks it's a toy.

Marnie opens it.

It is a wooden family.  We invite them into our Sukkah.

Mendel checks each of the people with his stethoscope.
