Building a Sukkah

Today we talked about another Chag that is coming up...Sukkot!

Sender said, "my Tatty is building a Sukkah"

Henny said her Tatty built a Sukkah with other people.

Mendel said, "not yet".

Kayle holds a picture of a Sukkah.  She notices chairs and candles inside.

The children help build a Sukkah with blocks.

We collect leaves for the roof.

Sender and Kayle put animals inside.

More fun from today:

The children use all the primary colors to paint.  Kayle makes purple.

Kayle threads the letter E.  'E is for my sister Eva,' she says.

Ella threads the E too.

Hannah helps to cut the fruit.

Mendel and Henny play Mommy and Daddy.  Henny wipes her baby.

Sender and Mendel put away the blocks according to the silhouette pictures.

Thank you to the Fried Family for being fruit family this week.

Marnie counts 5 grapes.

Kayle says, "I like apples and grapes".

The children look for branches which we will use to create a Sukkah decoration.

We can't wait!
