Ofir is following a step by step how to make hamantashen with play dough.
At the block center were pictures of palaces to inspire the block play to have a Purim touch.
At the writing center are various names and words we will be talking about and using over the next few weeks. They are all two sided - on some are written Hebrew and English & others have lower case and upper case. In the above picture, can you read what Shmuli wrote?
Before starting the story, we went through each of the characters and discussed what things do you think were in each of their houses.
Mordechai:
Zalman: Megillah & Torah
Moshe: Pictures of Mordechai saving people
Shmuli: Siddur
Ofir: Kippah and Tzitzit.
Now that the Yeladim are older they can begin to analyze the plot of Megillat Esther. A reoccurring theme that will be highlighted this year as the Yeladim read through the Megillah is nothing just happens by itself. Hashem is orchestrating everything - even the seemingly 'small details.'
