Fine Motor Control & Dramatic Play

Practicing fine motor control through cutting. The Yeladim cut from simple - strait lines & slanted lines to more advanced - rounded lines and then spirals.

Then the Yeladim used thier fine motor control practice to cut out thier very own crown. The intention behind making crowns was to practice this fine motor skill as well as to encourage more dramatic play inspired by Megillat Esther.

Ronny traced numbers on her crown. After tracing the number one she jumped up and did a little dance because she was so excited about writing the number one! We joined in and celebrated her feeling of accomplishment with her :).

The crowns definitely did encourage Purim inspired dramatic play!
In the above Picture - Ofir/King Achashverosh is choosing a new queen.

Bigson & Seresh are plotting and Mordechai is listening in.

Jewish people are doing Tefillah begging Hashem to save them from Haman's decree.

Queen Esther (x2) hosts a party. Main dish: Cereal, waffles & Milk.

The Queen in our class is extremely polite! I noticed her washing the dishes after the party!
