Hebrew Letters Everywhere!

Shmuli is dot painting Hebrew words. As he engages in this activity he is working on shape/letter recognition and emergent literacy of the Hebrew letters.

When Ofir was done dot painting his sight word, he brought it to the Morah. Morah empowered him through being independent - "You can write your name by yourself."

Zalman is working on shaping Hebrew letters.

On our snack board is listed our snack in Hebrew and English, Bella is circling the 'kuf' in 'Yarok' (green honey dew.)

Ronny is circling the 'Mem' from Melon in Hebrew.
Science exploration in a new texture.
Introduction to the following concepts:
Liquids and solids
Viscosity
Pressure
Cornstarch goo: Is it a solid? Is it a liquid? Applying pressure to the mixture increases its viscosity. This pressure-dependent substances is not a liquid and is more commonly known as a non-Newtonian fluid. Its made of water and cornstarch and the Yeladim were fascinated with its texture as they tried to figure out how to manipulate it.

Moshe tried putting it at the top of his stick to see if it would still 'drip down.'
