David and Dina joined our class today. David needed a Kippah and Ophir offered his on his own initiative. (The Yeladim found it amusing) David said, 'Thank you Ophir.' The Yeladim thought about the people in their lives they should remember to Thank. Each of the Yeladim named a couple.
Ayelet helped to act out Dina.
After going through family, friends, and community helpers we also thought to thank our Morahs. Morah Oshrit was in middle of helping out one of the Yeladim and when she got back we all said, 'Thank you!'
Today the Yeladim took home with them special 'Thank you ' Mitzvah notes. Please take a moment to jot down an example of a time your child remembered to say Thank you and send it in with your child so we can all hear about it learn from him/her as we talk about appreciation.
