Today we got a feel for slavery.
The children cut out bricks
And glued it on pyramids.
Mayer used a stencil to build a pyramid with blocks.
Sender wondered how they transported the heavy bricks in Mitzrayim.
We talkd about wheels and string, so Sender placed some bricks on a wagon and tied string to transport it to the building site.
Ido and Mendel built pyramids and palaces
At clean up, the children placed blocks on their blacks like the slaves would have.
We did some Pesach Drama.
Ido was dressed as King Pharoah. He said, "I want you to build me big pyramids".
The Jewish people were working and could not rest.
We put bricks into their back packs to make it super heavy.
"It's too heavy", said Mendel.
But Pharoah would not let them rest.
We sang a working song, with all the children pretending to work very hard.
More fun from today:
Transition times are fun. Morah Anne gave the children math questions today before they went to wash hands.
On an airplane to Florida and Bounce U.
