Acorn Provocations!

I placed a bowl of acorns in the kitchen...so many great ideas.
Ido spooned them out on plates.

Levi hid them in playdough.

Mayer checked to see if it could sit on his finger tip.

Chana made a face.

Devorah traced a square.

Today we practiced cutting lines.

Nevin was super busy at the playdough table making lots of pepperoni.

Nevin built a sail boat!

At circle time, we played a ball game to practice our communication skills.
Before we rolled the ball, we checked in with our friend if they were ready.

We also had a social story, using giraffe and goat.
Giraffe pushed goat, and we thought of what to tell giraffe:
"No hitting"
"No pushing"
"No being wild"
"No taking off yalmulka's"

We asked giraffe what happened and realized he got mad because goat took his train.
We helped giraffe problem solve.
"They can share"

Morah suggested taking turns with a timer.
The children, as well as goat and giraffe thought it was a great idea.
