Today the children were fascinated by the story of Yona and the Whale.
We emphasized that while in the whale's stomach Yona reflected about his behaviour.
He realized Hashem would help him do what he needed to and this gave him courage.
He reminded the people to stop hurting each other and start using kind words and gentle hands.
The people listened to Yona and felt much better.
Sometimes we just need a reminder!
