Today we made Challah for Shabbat. The children added raisins for a sweet new year.
Devorah arranged them in rows.
Levi made a spiral Challah.
The children watched as the Challah baked in our new toaster oven.
Nevin let us know when it dinged.
The children used corks to stamp on their Challah bag.
Devorah copied a D!
Chana drew a C!
We are practicing writing our letters!
At our Shabbat party, we set the table with a beautiful cloth, flowers, challah and candlesticks.
Levi collected Tzedakah.
We made the bracha on the wine...
And Nevin made the bracha on the Challah.
The honors to bless the Challah is given to the child who's going to be Fruit family the following week.
