The children worked on a collage using tissue paper and glue. I put honey on the table and asked the children how they could use it in their work. Sara said that was sticky and I asked how different it was from the glue. Peretz said that was shiny, messy and yellow.
Peretz used the honey to stick the tissue paper.
The children enjoy saying the Tefillah in the morning.
During meeting time we talked about the honey, where it comes from, it's taste and how it makes us feel.
The children tasted the honey and said how good, sweet, yummy it was.
We agreed to have this sweet taste, bringing a good feeling as we count down for Rosh Hashana.
