Ronny helped cut the butcher paper to prepare for the mural. "I did it!" she said as she jumped with excitement when she was done. She felt proud of her accomplishment.
The Yeladim drew pictures of grass, flowers and trees for the collaborative mural for the splitting of the sea.
Bella: "I made a sunflower. Its so easy!...this is a cloud."
In the book we read about peas it described the peas as acrobats. On page it said the peas formed a pyramid.
"They made a pyramid just like us!...Just like the Jewish people."
Thank you to the Beitsh family for being the fruit family of the week! We've been enjoying the variety all week!
We are up to the Maror on the Seder plate.
Zalman: "We almost cried from looking at it!"
Morah: Would anyone else like to try peeling or grating the maror?
Zalman: (tried discouraging his friends from the unpleasant experience) "Do you want to burn your eyes and cry? "
Ofir was creative and thought he had an idea how his eyes wont hurt from grating it :)!
We've experienced, written, drew pictures, cut with all the Makot and finally Paroah let the Jewish people leave. Not for long though! The Yeladim experienced the splitting of the sea today and the relief of being safe from Paroah.
Enjoying the beautiful weather outside! The drawings were all inspired by the scenery around:
lots of suns, grass, and ants to name a few.
