Discovering and learning about the Shofar.
Morah displayed a pair of unfinished Shofrot in the classroom, Binyamin and Zalman were the first to discover it and notice that it was not like a Shofar they have seen before.

Zalman: The Shofar doesn't make a sound?
Binyamin: You can't blow into it, because it doesn't have a hole!
Morah: Why doesn't it make a sound?
Zalman: Does it need to have a hole on both sides?"
The next day we were lucky enough to get some answers! Zalman's Tatty came and showed us more Shofrot and gave us a mini lesson on how to make the shofar sound. He also taught us about what makes the Shofar Kosher.
Shmuli told us that an animal "has to have split hooves" after Zalman's tatty asked us what Kosher animal feet look like.
Benjamin felt the antlers. We were told that those cannot be made into a Kosher Shofar.
Zalman, Moshe and Ofir practiced blowing in this horn!
It was so much fun to learn more about the Shofar, thank you Zalman's Daddy for the Shofar Lesson!
